An idea crammed down our throats in every TED talk, every design lecture, and from every self help book is to “learn from mistakes”. The new ones even read as “make more mistakes”.
I am reading The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, by Robin Sharma. It’s very preachy and is getting more and more about spirituality, but I expected it to be like this so I shouldn’t complain. He happened to have a great version of this idea though.

“Happiness comes through good judgement, good judgement comes through experience, experience comes through bad judgement.”
